About the Role:

As a People Operations Specialist you will be supporting the UK market, senior leaders and middle line managers across different functions.You will ensure all administration and operational employee support matters are well organized and executed, in accordance with local employment law. Overall, you will be enabling our line managers to perform at their best through communicating, listening, analyzing and problem solving on all topics related to their teams. You will be working collaboratively across the full people team to contribute to an amazing TIER-Dott employee experience. There is room to grow and also involvement in key people team projects can become part of your growth journey. You'll report directly to the Head of People Operations, Region West.

What you'll do:

💡People partner to line managers:

Weekly catch-ups and 1:1s for people consulting matters;
Support on disciplinary issues;
Consulting and training on all people programs applicable to the ground team in the market or the line managers;
Making sure the company follows all compliant employee local regulations;
Creation and implementation of new policies as needed;
Leading people programs contribution to the impact of these in the teams;

🛬 Onboarding:

Contract creation and issuing, making sure all is compliant with the market and that the employee is ready to use all our internal tools;
Activation of local employee benefits administration;

⭕️ HR lifecycle:

Making sure that all systems are updated on employee day to day matters as sick leaves, promotions, changes in reporting lines, etc.;
Support international employees with their VISA applications;
Supporting the creation of the markets newsletter;
Offboarding;

💰Payroll:

Support on preliminary payroll input (worked hours, time off, overtime, etc.) and maintenance;

💡Employee experience:

Data analysis and tracking of relevant metrics for the departments and the market;
Acting as a cultural ambassador for TIER-Dott;
Implement and train managers and employees on existing programs like performance management, benchmarking, etc.

What you'll need:

A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or connected areas;
Min.5 years experience working as a People Partner or in a HR Specialist role;
In depth knowledge of the UK employment law and 3+ years hands on experience dealing with any type of legal employment matters;
Being hands-on, having great communication skills & an excellent problem solver;
Demonstrated ability to listen, analyze and inform appropriately while maintaining the required sensibilities in handling confidential information;
Experience in working with HRIS tools, ticketing systems and electronic signature softwares;
English (oral and written) skills at a proficient level;
Experience and/ or knowledge of Belgium labor law will come as a plus;
Previous management experience roles will come as a plus.
