The post holder will work as a member of The Single Point of Access Team for Rochdale CAMHS, being co-located in a busy multidisciplinary office.

As part of the Single Point of Access the post holder will support the team to screen, triage and outcome referrals into Mental Health Services for Children and Adolescents, and manage risk accordingly, consulting with families and professionals.

The post holder will work within the Single Point of Access enabling parents, teachers, education psychology services, school support staff and other professionals across all children’s and young people’s services to get easy access to signposting, advice, support and urgent care, where necessary.

The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate excellent understanding of the delivery of the child and adolescent mental health services and be able to manage and assess risk effectively, providing risk support to professionals, children and families

The post holder will also have experience in screening referrals and decision making in terms of appropriate pathways, along with excellent risk management skills.
