The Telegraph is an award-winning, multimedia news brand that has been synonymous with quality, authority and trusted reporting for more than 165 years.

We are offering a two-week placement in April 2025 where you will gain hands-on experience alongside award-winning journalists in our fast-paced newsroom.

You should be passionate about news and journalism as a career, creative and eager to learn new skills.

The programme is based in our London office (Victoria) and we will help cover the costs of your travel, food and accommodation (if required).

Requirements

To be considered for this work experience opportunity, you must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the placement and have the right to work in the UK.

Ideally you should be studying journalism at university or working towards your NCTJ qualification or equivalent. However, If you aren't doing one of these courses but believe you should still be considered, please apply anyway and explain why we should give you a placement. We are actively encouraging applicants from all backgrounds.
