We are seeking a Head of People to champion the People function within a high-growth healthcare organisation. With an ambitious growth trajectory underway, this newly created role offers the opportunity to embed a first-class HR service that enables the business and its people to thrive.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the C-suite, you will be an integral member of Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and lead a team comprising both generalist and specialist professionals.
Your role will involve building the foundational elements of a high-performing People function while focusing on strategic priorities such as attraction, culture, development, and engagement. Operating in a service-led, customer-focused environment, the business is eager to shift from a reactive to proactive stance—positioning itself as an employer of choice and earning recognition for its exceptional work.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver an effective, high-impact HR toolkit that fosters a high-performance culture.
- Bring creativity and innovation to establish new ways of working across the employee lifecycle, including payroll and pensions.
- Partner with senior stakeholders as a trusted leader and influencer.
- Create and embed a highly engaged culture while driving change in alignment with the business's growth goals.
Your Background:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven strategic and operational HR team leadership experience within a primary healthcare setting.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- A track record of partnering with senior stakeholders and delivering impactful change at pace.
- The vision and capability to take the People function from its current state to one of best practice.

- A dynamic hybrid working model, with a North West office base two days per week and UK travel as needed.
