About the Role
Are you passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI)? Do you want to help shape a university experience where every student feels a true sense of belonging?
As our Graduate Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Coordinator, you will be joining our Campus Life teamin Student Experience. This is an exciting opportunity to design and implement initiatives that foster connection, celebrate diversity, and bring inclusivity to life across our campuses. In this role you will be responsible for the planning, design and implementation of both physical and digital spaces that raise awareness of diversity and inclusion initiatives such as Black History Month, LGBTQIA+ History Month, Equality Week, Neurodiversity Celebration week, the University's faith and cultural calendar and more.
You will be eager to champion equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) and raise awareness of the lived experiences of the breadth of students and all communities that shape Bath Spa University. While a genuine interest in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is essential, you do not need to be a subject matter expert. You will receive support from the Campus Life team and work closely with key colleagues and students to co-create this new experience at BSU.
Bringing your knowledge or experience in inclusivity—along with creativity and curiosity—you will help craft activities, events and content that share or increase awareness of meaningful stories and the journeys of our communities or students, through both physical and digital mediums.
(This is a 18 Month Full Time Fixed Term Role)

You will have strong interpersonal skills which will allow you to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders, along with creativity and curiosity in developing innovative programs. Excellent organisational abilities are essential for managing multiple projects, and a collaborative mindset is key to working across teams. We value adaptability, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a genuine interest in enhancing student well-being and success. You will be innovative, flexible, eager to make a difference and dedicated to supporting diverse and marginalised groups.

This is a full-time, hybrid role with 2-3 days per week required working at Bath-based campuses. Occasional evening or weekend commitments to support student-focused activities will be required.
