The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking for three Visitor Reception Assistants to work at least 300 hours per year across the Shakespeare Family Homes on annualised hours contracts.
As Visitor Reception Assistant you will be responsible for delivering excellent standards of visitor experience through a warm welcome and sharing of information to enhance visitors’ understanding of the offer. You will also contribute to the financial sustainability of the Trust by ensuring that opportunities are taken to maximise sales through an efficient and professional admission process leading to increased average admissions and secondary spends.
To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in a high profile, customer-facing operation, preferably a busy visitor attraction with a diverse audience. You will be used to delivering against a range of KPIs including financial and visitor satisfaction targets. A sound understanding of customer service principles, experience of using EPOS ticketing systems, and cash handling are also essential.
You will be flexible and approachable with good listening and communication skills, positive and enthusiastic about working with the public. You will be a team-player, able to work alongside a range of colleagues at various locations and have excellent timekeeping.
