We have an exciting opportunity within our Strategy & Engagement team as a Diversity & Inclusion Lead.
Reporting to our Assistant Director – Strategy & Engagement you will drive and embed a culture of diversity and inclusion and support leaders and colleagues in developing their knowledge and understanding of the importance of EDI to ensure MSV delivers a truly inclusive and diverse service.
What do our D&I Lead’s do;
- Lead on driving forward MSV’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) strategy and associated action plan to ensure EDI principles are considered across all areas of the business and reflects the diverse communities we work with.
- Provide expert advice, support and guidance to continuously improve our EDI practices. As well as build relationships with internal teams, external communities and stakeholders to help embed MSV’S commitment to EDI.
- Facilitate the EDI Steering Group and colleague network groups.
- Support MSV in its delivery of the Consumer Standards, specifically the requirements of the Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard as it relates to EDI.
- Have oversight for MSV’s collection, analysis and reporting of colleague and customer diversity monitoring data.
What we are looking for;
- A good general education to degree level, or with significant experience of EDI.
- Demonstrates commitment to EDI learning and continuing professional development
- Experience of engaging with different groups and delivering EDI related activities and events.
- In depth knowledge of legislation, policy and current issues relating to EDI
- Strong interpersonal skills including an ability to interact effectively at all levels in the organisation
