About the role
University College London (UCL) wishes to appoint a School Administrator. The post holder will be based at The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at the Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, a world-leading faculty ranked #1 in the world for Built Environment studies and #1 in the UK for its research environment. The post holder will carry out operational duties within the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction, consistent with the vision and mission of The School.
About You (Key requirements)
The successful applicant will be expected to be highly proficient in the use of a wide range of IT packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet applications. Have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and organise own workload, strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a variety of people, both within UCL and external organisations.
The successful candidate will have examples of working on sustainability initiatives and/or projects and the ability to work pro-actively and collaboratively to meet individual and team deadlines.
The appointee is required to have experience of providing Health and Safety support to a department or organisation as well as demonstrable experience of providing facilities and operational support in a department or organisation. They will be educated to A Level or equivalent.
