Here in Tayside, we are continually seeking ways to transform and improve the way we deliver health and care to the people of Tayside. We are focusing on clinically-led, whole-system redesign, creating modern, world class services. At the heart of what we do is a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, affordable, and sustainable care, while shaping a workforce that drives better outcomes for everyone.
We’re looking for an Associate Director, People & Culture (Strategic Delivery) who shares our vision and values, and who can bring inspirational leadership to our team. If you're someone who is energised by the opportunity to contribute to an environment where people can truly thrive and do their best work, this could be the perfect role for you.
In this broad role, you’ll report to the Director of People & Culture and provide strategic leadership to our People and Culture Plan, with oversight of significant and transformational people initiatives designed to support our workforce in delivering exceptional care to the population of Tayside. You’ll lead our organisational approach to understanding our workforce challenges and developing tangible plans to shape our future workforce needs.
You’ll achieve this through leadership of a team of talented professionals focused on workforce planning and design, job evaluation and workforce information and analytics, as well as collaboration with colleagues across the People & Culture Team and wider organisation. You’ll take the lead in ensuring appropriate governance, performance monitoring, reporting and assurance to the Board and its committees on workforce matters, aligned with the Staff Governance Standards, employment legislation and policy.
To succeed in this exciting role, you’ll need to be an accomplished and credible professional with Chartered Membership to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). You’ll also bring significant leadership experience, with a strong track record of developing and delivering results through collaboration, working with highly specialised functions and services, as well as with executive and senior leaders. You’ll have an inherent drive for results and success, ensuring that our approaches are positive, proactive and focused on supporting the delivery of Tayside’s strategic and operational priorities. If you’re ready to make a real impact and help us build a culture where everyone can thrive, we’d love to hear from you!
