Job Title: Junior International Marketing Manager
A Little Bit About Our Team
International Marketing is one of the company’s most dynamic departments, we work with all the domestic artists across the WMUK frontline labels (Atlantic Records UK, Warner Records Parlophone Music Group and Rhino) to market, promote and grow their artists on an international level.
Your Role
You will be joining this ambitious department as a core member of the team and should be a self-starter who has a strong passion for music, with a can-do outlook who feels at home in a fast-paced working environment! You will be responsible for your own roster of artists and so should have experience in managing marketing campaigns domestically or internationally with knowledge of marketing strategy, digital marketing, DSPs, commercial, promo, touring and audience building.
Reporting to the VP, International Marketing; we are looking for a forward-thinking music professional with a can-do outlook who feels at home in a fast-paced working environment.
Here You’ll Get To
- Be responsible for the strategic direction, planning, implementation and management of a roster of Warner Music UK artist campaigns internationally to deliver on commercial success as awell as audience growth and relationships between the artists and the global network of Warner Music
- Execute large scale, high impact global marketing and artist campaigns across both digital and physical releases of music for a roster of UK artists both developing and established and turning them into global superstars.
- Proactively seek out innovative ways to continually improve and develop your marketing campaigns and create opportunities for your roster of artists
- Represent and champion the needs of international territories in the best interests of the overall project, proactively supporting marketing teams to achieve best possible set-up scenarios for priority releases.
- Manage marketing budgets approved by head of department, monitor sales, streaming’s and activity on each project to ensure targets are being met.
- Ensure maximum impact and results from promotional, streaming and sales activity against marketing spend and budgets.
- Collect and review international marketing and promotion plans to create impactful global and local marketing plans
- Creative input for international online marketing. Ensure that all on and off-line marketing / promotion is integrated.
- Support Global A&R teams in identifying and securing appropriate collaborations / features
- Report and analyse results on all promotional and local marketing activity to senior management, artist management and Warner Music UK team.
About You
- Experience managing artist marketing campaigns either domestically or internationally
- Strong connection with musical trends and identifying opportunities.
- Sound knowledge of planning and executing impactful global marketing campaigns, regardless of allocated budgets
- Clear understanding of the International Music market, media, digital marketing and retail
- Strong data proficiency and ability to interpret data to make strategic recommendations
- Ability to build strong relationships with artists, artist managers, A&Rs, independent labels, tour agents etc.
- Experience running promotional activity including organising schedules, arranging logistics and managing budgets.
- Knowledge of the global touring landscape and how to effectively promote recorded repetorie alongside an artists live activity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Articulate with excellent copy writing skills
- A hardworking and innovative thinker whose able to multitask across multiple projects and work under pressure within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects
- Able to travel globally where required for promo or meetings
