About Us

The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) is an independent charity dedicated to breaking the link between family income and educational achievement.

We do this by supporting schools, colleges, and nurseries to improve teaching and learning through better use of evidence. We generate research evidence on effective practice in supporting learning outcomes and narrowing the socioeconomic attainment gap, and we work with education professionals to ensure this evidence is applied to achieve the maximum possible benefit for children and young people.

The EEFs reach and impact has been tremendous: the English education system is now one of the most evidence-informed in the world. Over half of state primary and secondary schools have taken part in an EEF-funded trial, and 70% of all school leaders use the Teaching and Learning Toolkit to inform their decision-making.

We are now looking for a Programmes Engagement Officer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Programmes Engagement Officer, you will support schools, nurseries and colleges to engage with EEF-funded programmes and evaluations, particularly those funded by the DfEs Accelerator Fund.

Fostering relationships within educational settings, you will ensure they are informed about the benefits of EEF trials and help them to make informed decisions on which programmes best suit their needs.

A key aspect of the role includes supporting the recruitment efforts of schools and settings into our programmes. This involves working closely with grantees, providing support for recruitment activities, and organising briefings and meetings to facilitate these efforts.

You will also work cross-functionally with the Communications and Mobilisation teams, collaborating with the Research School Network to ensure timely and relevant promotion of our initiatives.

Additionally, You Will

Create high-quality content for newsletters, social media, and marketing materials
Write guidance for grantees to help with recruitment and engagement
Monitor recruitment data, collaborating with the data team to track progress, and report on trends

About You

To be considered as a Programmes Engagement Officer, you will need:

Relevant work experience, for example providing logistical and administrative support
Experience being able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and deliver a high volume of work to a high quality
Strong administrative skills, including experience with office management software
Exceptional written communication skills

All EEF staff are subject to a check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The level of check which will apply shall be a Basic level check.
