Aboutthe Role
As a People Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the People Team, ensuring a smooth delivery of administrative tasks such as inbox management, HR system updates and payroll support, and drafting HR correspondence. The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining accurate employee records, supporting compliance, and contributing to an efficient and inclusive work environment. With a solid understanding of HR best practice. some of your key tasks will involve:
Inbox Monitoring -acting as first point of contact for all initial enquires, escalating a reallocating as appropriate.
HR System Updates Update and maintain employee information on the HR system Supporting data management.
Reference Requests & Right to WorkChecks - Ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Payroll Support – supporting with Updating payroll logs and files to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
