An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, passionate and highly motivated Named Safeguarding Children Professional to join the team at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). The successful candidate will join a forward thinking skill mix team of experienced safeguarding professionals.
The post holder will also have the responsibility to provide highly visible strong professional leadership to inform the strategic and operational direction of the Safeguarding Children agenda.
As a tertiary centre, the GOSH safeguarding service works closely with agencies across the country and abroad, as well as with local partner agencies, providing excellent internal and external opportunities for learning, professional development and networking.
The post holder will provide and promote an expert leadership role to support GOSH, within the 0 - 18 years safeguarding portfolio in line with corporate responsibility and national guidance and legislation.
