We are currently looking for an exceptionally talented, commercial, and experienced HR professional, who can demonstrate strong working knowledge of devising and delivering successful people agendas within a Financial Services setting. Our growth plans in General Insurance now include a Lloyds syndicate so we are also keen to find a candidate who has experience of working in the London Market.
A bit about the job:
The successful candidate will report into the Chief People Officer (CPO) for our General Insurance business, partner with our MD for our Group Corporate Speciality (GCS) business and participate as an active member of the senior leadership team. You will act as a Senior HR business partner for our Group Corporate Speciality (GCS) business area, comprising of approximately 700 employees. Key areas of focus will be:
- People Strategy: Design and implement effective People strategies that align with business objectives and drive desired outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate positive relationships with senior stakeholders and oversee organisational development, change, and reward-related projects.
- Transformation Leadership: Lead transformation and organisational development projects, ensuring smooth execution during periods of change.
- Talent and Growth: Focus on capability, talent, and sustainability plans to support the growth aspirations of the department.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Champion our dedication to crafting a diverse and inclusive organisation where talent can thrive.
Skills and Experience
- Senior HR Expertise: Proven experience in senior HR roles within Financial Services, ideally with knowledge of the London Market.
- Competence in Strategy: Demonstrate ability to devise, deliver, and drive strategic people agendas to deliver on our GI business plans.
- Relationship Building: Outstanding relationship building skills, with confidence in dealing with Director and C-suite level employees.
- Change Management: Comfortable navigating change with a proven track record in leading transformation and organisational development projects.
- Reward Knowledge: Experience working within a bonus-led culture and re-designing remuneration packages to fit business needs.

- Salary of £110,000 to £130,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity of 25% of annual salary (actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.)
