37.5 hours per week. Hybrid working (2 days in Burgh Heath, Epsom and 3 days remote)
£75,000 per annum + £4,500 per annum car allowance and 12.5% bonus
G3 - Delivers medium-term objectives and determines short-term priorities in a professional or senior operational/technical capacity. May manage a small to medium size operational or technical team.
The role in a nutshell: As a compliance subject matter expert, with a solid understanding of Financial Services compliance and a strong background in training delivery, you will be responsible for leading and managing the compliance training requirements across the Company. Together with being able to design and deliver compliance training to the business, you'll need to interpret new and amended regulations, identify business relevance and significance to our business and develop effective strategies to test for competence. This is a pivotal role to ensure we stay focussed on good customer outcomes and remain compliant as per FCA guidelines.
A bit about the ‘Department': The L&D team within People and Culture supports the competence, growth and career development of the people in our business. Whether it's their first day or 30th+ year, we're here to assist them in obtaining the development required to maximise both their and the business' needs.
What you'll be doing:
- Be a subject matter expert in regulatory framework (eg Consumer Duty, Anti Money Laundering, Financial Crime, GDPR etc) to positively and proactively take ownership of training and delivery with the regulation changes that impact our business including the development of competence testing
- Using your proven knowledge to identify, design, update and deliver training to different stakeholders (face to face, workshops, eLearning) in an engaging way and ensure training is suited to a range of stakeholders with varying levels of experience, thereby remaining focussed on good customer outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with the Business Assurance team and liaising with external bodies to be aware of changing industry requirements
- Continually carry out training needs analysis across the business to create meaningful and specific training interventions to support business compliance across the business and ensure competence of the workforce over time
- Develop ‘just in time' training and coaching solutions to support our customer facing areas
- Ensure TFSUK complies with all relevant regulatory training and maintain accurate records of attendees
- Driving standardisation and alignment of compliance training across all areas of the business
How you could stretch this role:
- Provide data and insights on learning needs and activities to inform decision making and support the production of internal reporting
- Developing in house eLearning solutions
- Supporting the L&D team through training delivery and TNA activities beyond compliance training including the development of competence evaluation exercises
Experience you'll gain:

Key Experience & Skills:
- A proven compliance professional who can demonstrate up to date industry compliance / regulatory framework knowledge and provide engaging training to the business (Face to Face, webinars, eLearning, etc.)
- A demonstrated track record in driving performance through self and others with knowledge of compliance systems infrastructure
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning development
- Authoring
- Knowledge of performance measurement tools and metrics that drive continuous improvement would be useful, but not essential
