What We Can Achieve Together
The Corporate Engagement Coordinator will be part of the Corporate Engagement Europe team, within the TNC Europe Business Unit.
The Corporate Engagement Coordinator will play a pivotal role on the Corporate Engagement (CE) team in Europe by helping to develop and implement systems for managing a portfolio of corporate engagements with individual corporates and business organisations. In addition, they will serve as a floating resource to support to the CE Europe team in developing proposals, preparing briefings, evaluating new opportunities and risk management for private sector engagement. The Corporate Engagement Coordinator will report into the Corporate Engagement Director, Europe. This is a 2 year fixed-term position.

Responsibilities & Scope
- Supports the Europe Corporate Engagement team during a period of exciting growth.
- Opportunity to work across TNC’s many priority sectors and engagement areas such as agriculture, zero conversion commodities, water, renewable energy, carbon credits, biodiversity, and nature.
- Builds, and facilitates internal networks and coordinates meetings, agendas, and presentations, including internal coordination of TNCs engagement with business platforms such as WBCSD, WEF and B4N.
- Keeps corporate collaboration details up to date, including documentation of meeting outcomes and interactions in internal CRM databases and Smartsheet.
- Supports the Europe Corporate Engagement team by drafting briefings for senior TNC leadership in preparation for conferences or meetings.
- Works with colleagues across TNC and external partners globally contributing to increasing TNC Europe’s brand visibility.
- Supports the Europe Corporate Engagement team on risk management processes associated with launching and managing corporate collaborations. This will entail completing the TNC corporate risk registry, coordinating reviews with the legal team and preparing for risk committee meetings.
- Gathers information about select companies’ sustainability strategies and supports the team by building out target company lists.
- Supports the team on corporate philanthropy engagement as well as other activities based on team needs.
- May involve domestic and international travel of approximately 20%.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination.
- Experience generating reports and analyzing and interpreting data.
- Experience managing and implementing multiple projects.
- Experience with business process analysis and/or improvement.
- Experience with current technology in relevant field.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Desired Qualifications
- Qualifications, work experience and/or interest in corporate sustainability
- Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experiences are appreciated;
- Ability to implement complex processes;
- Ability to use existing technology to achieve desired results;
- Demonstrated experience using diplomacy and tact to build strong relationships and motivate staff;
- Experience coordinating projects;
- Experience interpreting guidelines to achieve desired results;
- Knowledge of current trends in the specific field;
- Familiarity and knowledge related to managing for sustainability outcomes in a private-sector setting;
- Strong organization skills, accuracy, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks; and/or
- Successful experience implementing strategic program goals;
- Occasional flexibility for working across time zones and may involve taking some meetings outside standard working hours.
