Our client is a reputable international law firm considered to be one of the biggest Litigation and Arbitration law firms, they’re now seeking an organised and passionate Diversity & Inclusion Advisor to join their growing team in their London offices on a 9-12 month FTC basis.
The role of Diversity & Inclusion Advisor is to support the Diversity & Inclusion team, supporting with the implementation of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Strategy across their global offices. Supporting the day-to-day organisation and coordination of Diversity & Inclusion activities, help to develop strong working relationships with members of the Diversity & Inclusion Committees and act as the ambassador for the Firm’s Diversity & Inclusion programme internally and externally.
Duties will include:
- Working with the internal comms teams to maintain the global D&I comms plan, coordinate contributions from the international network, and look for opportunities to raise the profile of our D&I activities.
- Supporting the delivery of key global D&I initiatives such as comms campaigns, training and events
- Monitoring, recording and tracking activities across the international offices on an ongoing basis – for D&I, CSR and pro bono - ensuring this is fed through to necessary channels such as newsletters, the intranet and our website
- Collaborating with business development teams on tasks such as responding to D&I related client questions, and coordinating award submissions
- Helping to ensure consistency across our global network of D&I activities, initiatives, and plans
- Supporting the firms networks with coordination and logistics
- Helping to pull together global diversity data for reporting and analysis
- Day to day operational activities e.g. processing invoices, coordinating logistics for events, managing external memberships, preparing PowerPoint presentations, dealing with ad-hoc enquiries, and managing paperwork.
The Diversity & Inclusion Advisor will have a passion for diversity and inclusion and have come from a role that requires coordination, organisation and administration skills within a D&I capacity. Either from a law firm or professional services background, although this is not essential. The right candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills tailored to a diverse range of audiences, establish good working relationships while approaching situations in a professional, ethical and confidential manner. The Diversity & Inclusion Advisor will have the ability to deal with multiple priorities, be resilient with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
