The School of Health & Society has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, proactive and detail-oriented Programme Administrator to support the effective delivery of academic programmes in line with University processes and professional standards. The role holder will provide frontline support to students, staff and visitors, delivering excellent customer service and offering guidance on quality assurance, compliance and regulatory matters, including assessment boards, fitness-to-practice processes and student progression.
They will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and support decision-making to enhance programme management.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of student information systems and processes and will have the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. So, what will the role involve?
The Programme Administrator will:
- Oversee and coordinate administration within the team, ensuring processes are well-organised, efficient, and aligned with university policies.
- Provide support for assessments and contribute to the smooth delivery of academic programmes.
- Manage administrative systems and processes effectively, demonstrating strong organisational and IT skills.
- Analyse and manage large volumes of data with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Offer guidance and support to enhance staff development, including fostering training initiatives and promoting best practices.
- Contribute to strategic thinking and the development of existing processes to drive continuous improvement.
This role requires experience in higher education administration, strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail to maintain high professional standards and contribute to the University's success.
