About The Role
As the Policy and Partnerships Officer within the Resident Experience and Localities Service, you will play an integral role in evolving the localities model in partnership with key stakeholders: VCSE, internal council and external partners, and residents. You will work with data and insight to enable effective partnership working and pathways into their services.
About The Team You’ll Be Working In
The Resident Experience and Localities Service provides a One Hounslow approach to resident contact by having a unified front door with s an early help, holistic approach. We seek to provide a positive, consistent and inclusive experience when a resident is contacting Hounslow via any of its access channels, in person via Community Hubs, via telephone or online (including webchat) ensuring first point of contact resolution wherever possible.
Our teams empower residents to access and request services online, whilst our in-person services are designed to provide holistic support to those who need it the most. Resident Experience and Localities put residents at the heart of everything we do and strive to evolve our offer as residents' and communities' expectations and needs change.
About You
- You will have extensive experience of developing excellent relationships with key partners and bring your great communication skills to engage with a broad range of people, clearly able to present in both verbal and written formats.
- You are organised and analytical, able to take complex information and interpret and present it to colleagues and manager.
- You will care passionately about helping communities through early help, and prevention by utilising a partnership approach, be outcome-focussed; and put Hounslow residents at the very heart of everything we do and every decision we take.
- Lead by example: be proactive, flexible, solution focussed and caring. Always seeking to keep the highest standards for colleagues and customers.
- You will be a role model for our values, creating the conditions for our people and residents to succeed, and tackle inequalities.
