Paddle UK is the Governing Body for Paddlesports. We have had many advances in our sport and paddling now covers a wide range of interests and passions as a sport and a leisure activity for all. We want to support and provide opportunities for everyone to enjoy and realise their potential within all aspects of paddling regardless of their age, background or ability.
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum pro-rata
Working Pattern: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week, with flexibility to work the hours between Monday and Friday

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our governance team and help drive forward an inclusive culture for our sport. The EDI Lead will be responsible for managing our equality, diversity and inclusion work and helping to deliver against the ambitions in our #WePaddleTogether strategy. They will be responsible for providing support and guidance to the Paddle UK membership and ensuring that policies, action plans and practices deliver an inclusive culture for the sport and the membership.
The successful candidate will have experience of working successfully in a similar role and of developing organisation wide plans for equality, inclusion and diversity. They will be expected to keep up to date and share expert knowledge and best practice on all areas of equality, diversity and inclusion. They should be able to work as part of a team, be able to relate well, empathise and communicate with a wide range of people and drive and inspire change at all levels of the organisation.
