Our client is a reputable international law firm considered to be one of the biggest private client firms in Britain, they are now seeking an organised and positive Diversity & Inclusion Advisor to join their growing team in their London offices on a permanent basis.
The role of Diversity & Inclusion Advisor is to support the Diversity & Inclusion Manager and other key stakeholders to implement the Firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Strategy. Supporting the day-to-day design and delivery of Diversity & Inclusion activities, helps to develop strong working relationships with members of the Diversity & Inclusion Committees and acts as the ambassador for the Firm’s Diversity & Inclusion programme internally and externally.
Duties Will Include
- Providing dedicated support to the Diversity & Inclusion Manager, Diversity & Inclusion Partners, Chairs and members of the Diversity & Inclusion Committees to design, deliver and promote Diversity & Inclusion initiatives/actions.
- Working with the Diversity & Inclusion Manager, Recruitment and Early Talent Teams to analyse candidate data and consider ways to improve the diversity of applications while contributing to the development of strategy and increase diversity at the Firm.
- Providing high level support on the organisation and promotion of mental health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Drafting communications, promotion and completion of ad hoc Diversity & Inclusion training and liaising with the L&D Team
- Working closely with the Communications Team to produce high quality internal and external communications promoting Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and content.
- Supporting the Diversity & Inclusion Manager with budgeting and financial administration, including making and monitoring payments.
- Supporting the Diversity & Inclusion Manager and helping to liaise with the HR Team as appropriate to keep Diversity & Inclusion policies up to date and to help develop new policies and procedures.
The Diversity & Inclusion Advisor will have previous experience in a diversity and inclusion role, preferably in professional services along with a strong understanding of Protected Characteristics and how to support an inclusive work environment. It is essential to demonstrate proven experience of running, and promoting, events and or initiatives.
The right candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills tailored to a diverse range of audiences, establish good working relationships while approaching situations in a professional, ethical and confidential manner. The Diversity & Inclusion Advisor will have the ability to deal with multiple priorities, be resilient with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
