Job Description
The People Business Partnering Support will help colleagues achieve their potential and drive change at Heathrow. This role supports the business's people needs by providing comprehensive administrative assistance alongside the Business Partnering Team. It aims to deliver functional people plans, improve performance, increase engagement, and make Heathrow a better workplace.
This is a 12 month TFC opportunity.
Your role will involve
- Supporting the People Business Partnering Team in formulating and executing functional people project plans that enhance engagement, recruitment, talent management, wellbeing, and diversity initiatives and ad hoc duties.
- Developing and sustaining excellent working relationships with stakeholders across various functional areas and the broader people team.
- Assisting the People Business Partnering Team with key processes and cyclical activities, such as performance and talent reviews.
- Managing and analyzing people data to identify trends and recommending areas for improvement.
- Providing initial support to managers on people-related queries, including guidance on utilizing THEO (Internal HR System) to complete tasks.
- Working collaboratively with the OneHR teams to ensure the delivery of consistent and effective service to the business, while gathering and providing feedback as necessary.
These Skills Are Essential
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise a demanding workload and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with ambiguity, with strong resilience and determination to succeed an agile and in a sometimes-challenging business environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal including experience of using Microsoft Office 365.
- High level of customer focus and service, putting people at the heart of what we do. Apply discretion in managing sensitive information and situations.
Ideally you will have:
- Completed or working towards CIPD Level 3.
- Experience working in a HR/People Team environment.

Working Location
Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow . Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
