This UK/IE Event Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the UK/IE Event Teams as part of the publicity and marketing team. They will be a member of a broader, seasoned group of events professionals who are based in the London office. This role will be responsible for collaborating, organising, supporting the delivery of events for the UK/IE and will report into the Event Lead UK/IE.
The primary focus of this role will be a combination of working closely with the UK/IE Event Lead on administrative work, supporting Event Managers/Specialists on large-scale events and keeping the entire UK Events Team organised across all UK events and special projects.
More broadly the goal of the team is to drive conversation around Netflix titles, talent and the brand through curated external events and experiences. The Coordinator will work with other events team members and the cross functional team that is helping to execute and manage campaigns for our content, meaning that they will have to be in sync and show a curiosity about promotional efforts and contribute to building campaigns with new and innovative event ideas. This is also a
hands-on role and one that requires a great deal of organisation across a high volume of events.
This will involve varying tasks such as managing and streamlining multiple event tracking grids, supporting on budgeting tasks and raising POs, working with internal tooling systems, overseeing guest list and communications, handling event admin, being on-site at events and much more.
Success in the role is someone who can simplify even the most challenging of situations, leaving partners (internal and external) impressed and feeling like their event is in very safe and trusted hands.
