Job Title - Deputy Head of Employability and Progression
Wirral Met College is looking for a Deputy Head of Employability and Progression to join our Progression and Employment team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £44,314 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
- To deputise regularly for the Head of Department
- To work with the Head of Department to develop and implement programmes of study across all types of provision that are fit for purpose and lead to sustainable destinations for all students.
- To support the Head of Department in the design of programmes for all provision types which embrace innovative and best practice teaching approaches to enable the department to achieve the highest standards.
- To assist in the development of a curriculum that is inclusive and allows the maximum number of students with SEND to access our provision.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Hold or commit to achieving a formal management qualification within three years.
- Level 2 English and Maths
- Experience of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment resulting in a positive impact over time
- Ability to analyse performance, identify problems and provide solutions.
- You may be required to work at any location of the College, now or in the future.
- Access to transport and ability to travel
