Head of ED&I (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion)
Location: London, Hybrid (3 days per week on-site)
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum DOE
Start Date: Immediately (ideally able to start in Nov '24)
We are very excited to be supporting one of our partners to help them hire a Head of ED&I. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to lead an award-winning ED&I, Social Impact, and ESG strategy at a progressive and innovative company based in London.
This is a strategic role focused on advancing the company’s work in diversity, equity, inclusion, and social impact, both internally and in collaboration with clients and partners. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of driving initiatives across multiple social impact pillars, including gender equality, social mobility, cultural inclusion, and environmental sustainability.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CPO, you will manage one direct report (an ESG and ED&I Analyst) and work collaboratively with various departments. You will build upon a strong foundation of existing initiatives, with opportunities to develop new strategies and drive the organisation toward greater impact in the ED&I and ESG spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
ED&I Strategy:
- Develop and implement ED&I and Social Impact strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the pursuit of industry recognition through awards and accreditations.
Internal Programmes:
- Champion the company’s internal diversity initiatives, including a dedicated Women in Tech Academy.
- Provide guidance on best practices across HR, Talent, Marketing, Compliance, and other departments.
- Oversee employee resource groups and deliver ED&I awareness sessions
Client Relationships:
- Act as the company’s representative for all client-related ED&I and Social Impact matters.
- Collaborate with clients to support their ED&I objectives and requirements.
- Partner with the Sales team to present at client meetings and represent the company as a leader in Social Impact
Research and Reporting:
- Lead the production of the company’s annual ED&I research report, including its industry launch event.
- Oversee the delivery of impact reports to clients, showcasing the organisation's achievements
Partnerships:
- Manage and expand a network of ED&I and Social Impact partners.
- Identify new collaboration opportunities and drive partnership events.
ESG:
- Supervise the company’s environmental sustainability activities.
- Ensure compliance with existing and upcoming ESG requirements, working closely with the ESG Analyst.
